Bamboo Silk

Bamboo silk is a natural viscose extracted from the bamboo plant. It is a renewable resource that doesn’t require replanting and can grow up to 23 meters in a year.

Cellulose is extracted from the bamboo tree to create a hardwearing silky fibre perfect for rugs.

Bamboo silk has the look of more expensive silk, but the cost is much more affordable.

Cocoon Silk

Cocoon silk rugs will look great for years to come with proper care and regular vacuuming.

Silk is produced from the cocoon covering of the silkworm. The cocoon is spun by the silk moth caterpillar of a single silk fibre that can be up to several thousand metres in length and, although delicate, is incredibly strong.

Silk reflects light brilliantly, and when you walk around a silk rug, it has a very distinct light direction and a deeper dark direction.

Handspun Jute

Jute is a long, soft, shiny plant fibre that can be spun into coarse, strong threads. It's easy to produce, sturdy, and biodegradable, so it's the perfect material to use in handmade rugs.

Jute is golden-hued with a shimmery shine and has a flexibility and bounce unlike other fibres.

Jute fibre is 100% biodegradable, recyclable, and does not create toxic gas when burned. This means your jute rug can also go straight back into the compost when it’s too old to be of use or recycled in your garden beds as weed matting.

Machine Made Polypropylene

Machine-made polypropylene rugs are durable, easy to clean, and resistant to moisture and stains. These rugs offer a practical and affordable solution for high-traffic areas.

New Zealand Wool

Hali rugs are made with hand-spun New Zealand wool, which is the whitest and softest of all the wool fibres. This highest-quality fibre gives extraordinary beauty, colour depth, and clarity when dyed, creating a lustrous and silky finish for our premium range of rugs.

New Zealand wool retains the lanolin to help stop stains penetrating the wool, leaving soiling near the surface where it can easily be removed without the use of harsh chemical cleaners.

Premium Linen

Premium linen is made from the fibres of the flax plant and is three times stronger than cotton, making it a durable fibre for rug weaving. It is porous, meaning that it naturally repels heat and moisture, and has natural anti-bacterial properties.

Our linen rugs are a sturdy, eco-friendly option for your home.

Recycled Bottle PET

With up to 3000 recycled plastic bottles used to make each rug, these are an ethical, environmentally friendly flooring option to decorate your home or garden.

Recycled PET rugs are incredibly practical, easy to clean, stain-resistant, hard-wearing, and completely waterproof, making them the perfect indoor or outdoor rug.

Wool

Wool has such a long tradition as a floor covering material because its very structure makes it ideally suited to this purpose. Even before 500 BC, Persian nomads knew about the use of knotted carpets, with their herds of goats and sheep providing high-quality wool.

Wool's rich history as a floor covering material means your wool rug will lend an air of unparalleled authenticity and class to your scheme that a synthetic fibre simply cannot match.

Wool, when dyed, excels in both its depth and clarity of colour, meaning your wool rug will retain its stylish good looks for longer.

Wool is springy, and its fibres can be stretched and still easily return to their natural shape, which means that wool rugs will last for many years without showing signs of wear and tear.
